Brooklyn, NY is a land living between developing condominiums and historic brownstones. In this series, I investigate the angles in architecture, the light refracting off of windows at dusk, and all the emotions that swirl around my perspective of the borough. Not only inspired by my love of gazing out of windows, from fire escapes, and unfinished rooftops, but also the iconic stoops with postage stamp sized gardens - Many physical elements of the art were locally sourced from neighborhood curbs to be [re]finished into a new life, up-cycled from trash to treasure. The birds may sing much more than in manhattan, but the energy of the big city is never far beyond these stoops and sidewalks.
